Responsibility
- Assist in orienting patients and their relatives to the Day Ward environment, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable.
- Provide basic patient care, including escorting patients to examination rooms, preparing them for procedures, and monitoring their well-being.
- Support nursing staff in daily clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and maintaining cleanliness in the ward.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of medical equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Offer emotional support and clear communication to patients and families, addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe, hygienic environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate efficient patient flow and timely care delivery.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or patient care setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with diverse patients.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform tasks requiring standing or walking for extended periods.
