Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective 1-to-1 and small group tuition sessions for Primary and Secondary students.
- Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and academic needs.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with other tutors and educational staff to share best practices and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson plans.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities and ensure inclusive education.
- Communicate effectively with parents to discuss student performance and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, a relevant subject, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Primary/Secondary students, preferably in a 1-to-1 or small group setting.
- Strong subject matter expertise in core academic areas such as Mathematics, Science, English, or Humanities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and build rapport with parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
- Ability to create structured and creative lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs.
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools and digital resources is a plus.
- Flexibility to work during after-school hours, weekends, or as mutually agreed with students.
