Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including equipment, workstations, and customer areas.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge to enhance customer experience.
- Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices for coffee preparation and service.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and beverage preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is a plus.
- Certification in coffee-making or barista training is an advantage.
