Responsibility
- Lead a Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team specializing in Generative AI, driving the adoption of Google Cloud’s AI/ML solutions for enterprise partners.
- Collaborate with Google Cloud’s strategic partners to design, develop, and deploy GenAI applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Act as a technical advisor to partners, providing guidance on AI/ML best practices, architecture, and scalability for GenAI workloads on Google Cloud.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges in AI model integration, performance optimization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Work closely with Google’s product and engineering teams to provide feedback on GenAI tools, APIs, and frameworks, influencing future product development.
- Drive thought leadership in GenAI by publishing insights, speaking at industry events, or contributing to open-source projects.
- Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, sales, and partner teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role (e.g., Engineering Manager, Tech Lead).
- Proven expertise in Generative AI, machine learning, or deep learning, with hands-on experience in model development, fine-tuning, or deployment.
- Strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including AI/ML services (e.g., Vertex AI, TensorFlow, BigQuery ML) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Compute Engine).
- Experience working with enterprise partners or customers, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Fluency in Python, Java, or Go, with a solid understanding of software development best practices (e.g., CI/CD, testing, DevOps).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading distributed or remote teams is a plus.
