Note: This is a remote contract position open to candidates based in Bali, Indonesia.
Responsibility
- Redesign and refresh the company website to improve aesthetics, usability, and brand alignment.
- Develop and implement responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Manage and maintain WordPress sites, including plugin updates, security patches, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure website content is up-to-date and aligned with marketing goals.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix issues related to speed, SEO, and user experience.
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs to enhance website functionality (e.g., payment gateways, analytics).
- Monitor website traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest web design trends, WordPress updates, and digital best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Web Designer and WordPress Administrator (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (basic knowledge is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
