Responsibility
- Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and purchases to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle payments accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and report discrepancies to the store manager.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking shipments, verifying deliveries, and organizing stock in the storeroom.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Support promotional activities, including setting up displays and distributing marketing materials.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow in the retail industry.
