Responsibility
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and service areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and decor, to prepare for service.
- Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash delicate items to maintain inventory integrity.
- Support the culinary team by organizing and restocking supplies, ingredients, and storage areas efficiently.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to maintain a seamless flow of clean dishware during peak service hours.
- Follow sustainable practices, such as proper waste sorting and energy conservation, to align with eco-friendly initiatives.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Uphold a professional demeanor and adhere to Gebu’s service standards at all times.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items (up to 10 kg) for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
