Responsibility

  • Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
  • Take and accurately relay customer orders to the kitchen, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to iO Italian Osteria’s high standards of presentation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, including table settings, utensils, and condiments.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up tables, restocking supplies, and preparing the restaurant for service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with restaurant policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for part-time shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
