Responsibility
- Manage and coordinate the school's health services program in accordance with local regulations and school policies.
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff, assessing and treating minor injuries and illnesses.
- Develop and implement health education programs for students, staff, and parents to promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students, including immunization records and health assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student health concerns and develop individualized health plans.
- Monitor and manage communicable diseases within the school community, implementing appropriate control measures.
- Conduct health screenings, including vision and hearing tests, and refer students to appropriate healthcare providers as needed.
- Ensure the school's health clinic is well-stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in Indonesia.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric, school, or community health settings.
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent health issues, first aid, and emergency care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Experience in health education and promoting wellness initiatives is highly desirable.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an advantage.
