Responsibility
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide accurate and engaging product information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process transactions efficiently using POS systems while handling cash and digital payments securely.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily targets and contribute to store-wide performance goals.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and resolve them to satisfaction.
- Stay updated on IKEA’s product offerings, promotions, and policies to deliver consistent and accurate information.
- Assist in stock replenishment, inventory checks, and merchandising tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or sales (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a part-time capacity.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
