Responsibility
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries, product locations, and purchases.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash/credit payments accurately.
- Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized store layout to enhance visual appeal.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or damaged items to the store manager.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking new deliveries, ensuring products are priced and displayed correctly.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Adhere to store policies, including health and safety regulations, and maintain a tidy work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
