Responsibility
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and checkout processes efficiently and courteously.
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean, visually appealing store layout.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and ensure accurate financial records.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies to the store manager.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to company policies, including health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Participate in promotional activities, such as setting up displays and assisting with in-store events.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling abilities for accurate transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory (training provided).
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for customer service.
