Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python to improve testing efficiency.
- Perform regression, smoke, and performance testing to ensure system stability.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation (e.g., Selenium, PyTest).
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database testing (SQL).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, part-time capacity.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
