Responsibility
- Conduct engaging and interactive online English lessons for students of varying proficiency levels, ensuring a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
- Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans using PowerPoint presentations and other digital teaching tools to enhance student comprehension and engagement.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and feedback sessions to track improvement and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to align lesson content with curriculum goals and ensure consistency across classes.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents (where applicable) to foster continuous language development and address areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and performance to monitor progress and report to management.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and cultural backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive and effective learning experience.
- Participate in occasional training sessions and workshops to stay updated on best practices in English language teaching and digital education tools.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL), either online or in a classroom setting.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver engaging PowerPoint presentations and digital lessons.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms, digital whiteboards, and other virtual classroom tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar).
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification is a plus but not required for experienced candidates.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, especially in a part-time, flexible schedule.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a quiet, professional workspace for online teaching sessions.
