Responsibility
- Develop and implement a play-based, inquiry-driven curriculum aligned with early childhood education best practices.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
- Assess and monitor children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through observations and documentation.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to build strong home-school connections and provide regular progress updates.
- Plan and execute thematic units, storytelling, music, art, and outdoor activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote a harmonious and respectful classroom.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student portfolios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a nursery, kindergarten, or early childhood setting.
- Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other progressive teaching methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and child safety protocols.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is advantageous.
