Responsibility
- Provide personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes or day care centers, including help with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, or needs to supervisors or family members.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders as required.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a trusting and respectful relationship.
- Follow care plans and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of clients at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the Homage team.
- Adapt to varying client needs and environments, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old with a passion for caregiving and helping others.
- Basic understanding of healthcare practices, hygiene standards, and safety procedures (training provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility, lifting, or other care-related tasks (with proper techniques).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled shifts.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude toward working with elderly or vulnerable individuals.
- Prior experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related field is a plus but not required.
