As a Customer Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional in-store experiences, assisting customers with product inquiries, and maintaining a well-organized, visually appealing retail space. Responsibility
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, assisting shoppers with product selection and inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments.
- Maintain store presentation by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-merchandised.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to the store manager.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with a solution-oriented approach.
- Promote Watsons loyalty programs, discounts, and special offers to enhance customer engagement.
- Assist in store opening/closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and security checks.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, especially new launches in health, beauty, and personal care.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- No prior retail experience required—full training provided!
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light boxes (up to 10 kg).
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
