Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly and efficient service, greeting customers warmly and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Manage opening and closing cash register procedures, including reconciling daily sales and preparing reports.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with patience and a problem-solving mindset.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth order flow and minimal wait times.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking receipts, bags, and other supplies.
- Promote current specials, loyalty programs, or upsell menu items when appropriate.
- Adhere to hygiene, safety, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old (as per local labor regulations).
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Japanese, Korean, or Indonesian is a plus.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required—training provided!
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-player mentality.
