Responsibility
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Monitor and interpret changes in local, national, and international regulations affecting the poultry and food industry, and advise management accordingly.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with HR, operations, and other departments to ensure adherence to labor laws, food safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and training materials for employees.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies on compliance-related matters.
- Maintain organized records of legal and compliance documentation, including permits, licenses, and certifications.
- Support the resolution of legal disputes, claims, or investigations by gathering evidence and preparing reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field. A paralegal certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal, compliance, or legal advisory role, preferably in the food, agriculture, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, labor law, food safety regulations (e.g., BPPOM, Halal certification), and environmental compliance.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and compliance reports.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is required.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
