Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents, contracts, and compliance reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the poultry and agribusiness sectors.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, operations, and management, to provide guidance on compliance matters and legal risks.
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations affecting the company’s operations and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer (CDO) in managing compliance-related projects, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
- Assist in managing relationships with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. A paralegal certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a paralegal, compliance, or legal support role, preferably in the agribusiness, food, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles.
- Familiarity with Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly those related to business operations, labor, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages are a plus.
