Responsibility

  • Manage and organize pantry inventory, ensuring all supplies are stocked, labeled, and rotated according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
  • Prepare and portion ingredients for kitchen staff, adhering to recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pantry, storage areas, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities and quality of incoming supplies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to anticipate needs and minimize waste through efficient inventory management.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate low-supply alerts to supervisors to prevent shortages.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks such as setting up buffet stations or assisting with event preparations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a pantry, kitchen, or hospitality role (entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, storage, and handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory tracking and supply management.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine or local ingredients is a plus.
  • Basic English proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred.
