Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for SMM's international metals events and conferences across Southeast Asia
- Collaborate with Shanghai HQ to localize global marketing campaigns for the Malaysian and Indonesian markets
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including metals traders, producers, and government agencies
- Organize and promote international metals conferences, exhibitions, and networking events in the region
- Create compelling marketing content (presentations, reports, social media) tailored to international audiences
- Monitor and analyze market trends in the metals and commodities sector to inform marketing strategies
- Represent SMM at industry events and trade shows, both virtually and in-person
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all international channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, International Trade, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in commodities, metals, or industrial sectors
- Proven track record in international marketing or business development
- Excellent command of English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of Southeast Asian business culture and markets
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (CRM, email marketing, social media)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with international teams
