Responsibility

  • Prepare, dispense, and verify prescription medications with accuracy and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and counseling to patients regarding drug interactions, side effects, and proper usage.
  • Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while ensuring no expired products are dispensed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to review and optimize patient medication regimens for safety and efficacy.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring high standards of service and accuracy.
  • Implement and uphold quality control procedures to minimize errors and enhance patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical developments, guidelines, and best practices through continuous education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (S.Farm) or equivalent; licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Indonesia (SIK).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff pharmacist, preferably in an outpatient or hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and clinical guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian healthcare regulations and standards is a plus.
