Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet company and industry quality standards.
- Identify and document defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities in products or packaging.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional tests on products using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including detailed reports and data entry into quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
- Provide feedback to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation practices.
