Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess feasibility, identify potential challenges, and gather data for OSP project planning.
- Coordinate and oversee field activities, including cable laying, splicing, and equipment installation, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including site reports, as-built drawings, and progress updates.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of OSP infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to outside plant networks, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all field operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and field technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in OSP engineering, telecom infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of outside plant networks, fiber optics, and telecom infrastructure deployment.
- Proficiency in using surveying tools, testing equipment, and industry-specific software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members.
- Willingness to travel and work in various field conditions across Bali.
- Certifications in telecom or OSP-related fields (e.g., BICSI, FOA) are a plus.
