Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical aids.
- Provide personalized advice on eye care, vision correction, and optical products.
- Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for referrals and co-management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye check-ups.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and optical technology.
Qualifications
- Full registration as an Optometrist or Optician (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience in conducting eye examinations and fitting optical aids.
- Strong knowledge of eye anatomy, vision science, and optical products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards.
- Familiarity with optical equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
