Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and focus ability.
- Diagnose and treat vision problems, eye diseases, and other conditions affecting the eyes.
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
- Educate patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and the use of corrective lenses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or a related field.
- Valid OOB (Optometrists and Opticians Board) registration.
- Proven experience as an Optometrist, preferably in a clinical or retail setting.
- Strong knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use optometric equipment and technology effectively.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
