Responsibility
- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies to safeguard marketplace transactions and user trust.
- Lead operational controls and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, Tech) to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze data trends to identify fraud patterns and propose actionable solutions.
- Design and execute business controls to minimize operational risks and improve scalability.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in fraud detection and prevention.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, MBA) is a plus.
- 5–8 years of experience in marketplace operations, fraud management, risk consulting, or business controls.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing fraud prevention or operational control frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or digital payments is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; additional Southeast Asian languages are a plus.
