Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics and freight forwarding professionals to ensure operational excellence.
- Oversee end-to-end freight processes, including operations, sales, trade accounts, and financial transactions.
- Utilize CW1 and other logistics software to manage shipments, documentation, and compliance.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to optimize Accounts Payable/Receivable processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Resolve operational challenges and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in CW1 and other logistics management systems.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve operations.
- Experience in managing Accounts Payable/Receivable processes in a logistics setting.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
