Responsibility
- Oversee daily logistics and customs operations to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Manage yard operations, including inventory control, loading/unloading, and storage optimization.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to streamline delivery processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational productivity and cost management.
- Lead, train, and mentor operations staff to maintain high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all logistics and customs activities.
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners to facilitate smooth communication and business transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, customs, or operations management, preferably in the cargo or transportation industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and international shipping procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
