Responsibility

  • Oversee daily operations of the aquarium, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage facility maintenance, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote events, exhibitions, and educational programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety protocols, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marine Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or aquarium settings.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional Indonesian language skills are a plus).
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations, facility management, and budgeting.
  • Passion for marine conservation, education, or sustainable tourism is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
