Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the aquarium, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Manage facility maintenance, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote events, exhibitions, and educational programs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety protocols, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marine Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or aquarium settings.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional Indonesian language skills are a plus).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, facility management, and budgeting.
- Passion for marine conservation, education, or sustainable tourism is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
