Responsibility
- Oversee daily manufacturing, transport, and logistics operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize productivity.
- Manage and lead cross-functional teams, including production, warehouse, and distribution staff.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all operational activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve turnaround times.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of lean management principles and Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
