Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of distribution centers, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Lead, mentor, and train a high-performing team to achieve organizational goals and KPIs.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement, and optimize stock management to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, finance, and supply chain) to align operations with business objectives.
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and distribution logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
