Responsibility
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and warehouse management.
- Coordinate with customs, port authorities, and third-party vendors to ensure compliance and timely deliveries.
- Optimize supply chain processes to reduce transit times and operational costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time strategies to minimize storage expenses.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Liaise with clients, agents, and internal teams to resolve logistics-related inquiries and issues.
- Ensure adherence to international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or operations management, preferably in maritime or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficient in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to port locations or regional offices.
