Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) to prevent discrepancies and stockouts.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective transportation.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve any inventory or logistics-related issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or operations within the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights to improve warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) is a plus.
