Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily shipment operations, including booking, documentation, and tracking to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external partners (e.g., carriers, customs) to facilitate smooth freight movement.
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively address delays or issues, and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, and international trade laws.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, customs forms) for accuracy and completeness.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of shipments, expenses, and operational metrics for reporting and analysis.
- Resolve operational discrepancies or client concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or operations management.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
