Responsibility
- Operate company vehicles to transport goods between Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, receipts, and incident reports.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve any delivery-related issues.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Provide support in warehouse operations, including inventory management and order preparation when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 or Class 4 driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in driving and dispatch operations, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Familiarity with Singapore and Malaysia road networks and customs procedures.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Malay or Mandarin is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
- Physically fit to handle loading and unloading tasks.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and using GPS navigation systems.
- High level of integrity and responsibility in handling company assets and goods.
