Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor daily shipping operations, including vessel schedules, cargo handling, and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., sales, customer service) and external stakeholders (e.g., ports, customs, agents) to ensure timely and accurate execution of logistics plans.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, such as bills of lading, manifests, and customs declarations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Track shipments in real-time, resolve delays or discrepancies, and provide proactive updates to clients and team members.
- Optimize routing and resource allocation to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including inventory, transit times, and incident reports, using ERP or logistics software.
- Collaborate with the finance team to process invoices, track expenses, and ensure budget adherence for logistics activities.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding, preferably in a coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of maritime operations, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific tools) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Bali’s port operations or Southeast Asian logistics networks is a strong asset.
