Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and digital payments, while providing receipts and change.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times, reconciling daily sales reports and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in inventory tracking, stock replenishment, and basic administrative tasks to support store operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring a positive checkout experience.
- Collaborate with the team to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and report anomalies to management.
- Adhere to company policies on security, confidentiality, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Operate POS systems, scanners, and other cashier-related equipment efficiently.
- Participate in end-of-day closing procedures, including cash counting and preparing deposits.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in finance or retail is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a similar customer-facing role (1+ years preferred).
- Strong numerical and basic arithmetic skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, cash registers, and Microsoft Office (Excel for reporting).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a high-traffic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, responsibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Indonesian currency and local payment methods is advantageous.
