Responsibility
- Operate and monitor critical data center infrastructure, including electrical systems, cooling units, and backup generators.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and in compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities and keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades and improvements to facility systems.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies related to data center operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and other staff members as needed.
- Participate in emergency response procedures and on-call duties to address critical issues outside of regular working hours.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Chargeman Certification (BO or higher) recognized by the relevant authorities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining electrical or mechanical systems in a data center or similar environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, UPS, generators, and other critical infrastructure components.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations governing data center operations.
- Willingness to work in shifts and be available for on-call duties as required.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
