Responsibility
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during operations.
- Ensure the operating theatre is clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Follow strict safety protocols to minimize risks during operations.
- Provide support in emergency situations and assist with patient transfers.
- Document and maintain records of surgical procedures and equipment usage.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Operating Theatre Technology or a related field.
- Previous experience in an operating theatre or surgical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with rotating shifts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
