Responsibility
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during all phases of surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to procedure-specific requirements.
- Conduct pre-operative patient assessments, including verifying medical histories, allergies, and consent forms.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, anesthesia responses, and intra-operative conditions with precision.
- Provide post-operative care, including wound management, pain control, and patient education on recovery protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs, troubleshoot emergencies, and ensure seamless workflow in high-pressure situations.
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control, hygiene, and healthcare regulations (e.g., JCI standards).
- Participate in continuous training and quality improvement initiatives to enhance OR efficiency and patient care standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) and SIP (Surat Izin Praktik) required for Indonesian practice.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse or in perioperative care; fresh graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is highly preferred.
- Proficient in sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and emergency protocols in an OR setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia to liaise with international patients and medical teams.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced surgical environments.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical standards, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
