Responsibility
- Provide on-site technical support for operating room equipment, including installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Train medical staff (surgeons, nurses, technicians) on the proper use, maintenance, and safety protocols of OR equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess equipment needs and recommend solutions tailored to surgical workflows.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and performance checks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Respond to emergency service requests during critical procedures, minimizing downtime and ensuring patient safety.
- Document all service activities, equipment status, and user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry advancements in surgical technology and share insights with the team.
- Ensure compliance with local and international medical equipment regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, or Indonesian health authority standards).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operating room equipment support, medical device sales, or clinical engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of surgical tables, anesthesia machines, patient monitors, and other OR equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and collaborate with medical professionals.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel frequently within Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) and occasionally to other regions.
- Certification in medical equipment handling or biomedical engineering is a plus.
