Responsibility
- Perform on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of multifunction printers and related devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for printer systems.
- Provide timely technical support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of printing equipment.
- Train end-users on proper printer usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory of printer parts.
- Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues and implement solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest printer technologies and industry trends to provide cutting-edge support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Technician, Printer Technician, or similar role, with a focus on multifunction devices.
- Strong knowledge of printer hardware, software, drivers, and network configurations.
- Certification in printer repair (e.g., HP, Canon, Xerox, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose technical issues efficiently.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to client sites as needed.
- Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Bali’s key business districts.
