Responsibility
- Assist in the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently and safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate smooth operations.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Assist in the preparation of orders by picking and packing items according to specified guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
