Responsibility
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with autism, focusing on sensory integration, motor skills, and daily living activities.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate each child's strengths, challenges, and therapeutic needs.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and playful, engaging activities.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Educate families on strategies to support their child's development at home and in the community.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia or Malaysia.
- Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sensory integration, fine and gross motor development, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is a plus.
