Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, physiotherapists, nurses) to ensure holistic care.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs.
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans based on patient response.
- Advocate for patient needs within healthcare settings and community programs.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate new methodologies into treatment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist (local or international).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (Senior OT roles require 5+ years).
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques for neurological, orthopedic, or pediatric conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse patients.
