As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services, conducting health assessments, and promoting workplace safety. Responsibility
- Provide immediate first aid and medical assistance to employees in case of injuries or illnesses.
- Conduct regular health screenings, assessments, and wellness checks for employees.
- Develop and implement workplace health and safety programs in compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all employees.
- Educate employees on health and safety practices, including ergonomics and injury prevention.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers for referrals and follow-up care.
- Monitor workplace conditions to identify potential health hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in emergency response planning and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Valid nursing license and certification in occupational health (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with occupational health experience being an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and workplace safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information with discretion.
- Proficient in medical record-keeping and basic administrative tasks.
