Responsibility
- Conduct thorough dietary assessments to evaluate clients' nutritional needs and health goals.
- Develop customized meal plans tailored to individual health conditions, preferences, and lifestyle.
- Provide one-on-one counseling to educate clients on healthy eating habits and nutritional strategies.
- Monitor and track clients' progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional care into overall treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest research and trends in nutrition science to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Conduct workshops or seminars to promote nutrition awareness and healthy living within the community.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Certification or licensure as a Nutritionist or Dietitian (preferred).
- Proven experience in clinical nutrition, wellness coaching, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively counsel and educate clients.
- Ability to analyze dietary data and create practical, achievable meal plans.
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions (e.g., diabetes, obesity, heart disease).
