Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate all overnight hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, security, and maintenance.
- Act as the primary Manager-on-Duty (MOD), making critical decisions to resolve guest issues and operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety protocols, and local regulations during night shifts.
- Monitor financial transactions, including night audit processes, to guarantee accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain security, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate night shift staff to uphold service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Handle emergency situations (e.g., medical incidents, security breaches) with professionalism and urgency.
- Prepare detailed shift reports for management, highlighting incidents, guest feedback, and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or night audit role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of PMS (Property Management Systems) and night audit procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Availability to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM – 6 AM) with flexibility for weekends and holidays.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR and familiarity with emergency response protocols.
- Demonstrated commitment to guest satisfaction and a service-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
